Any recipes for my left over ham?

I have lots of ham left over and would like some salad and/or soup recipes, etc. Thanks in advance!Any recipes for my left over ham?
I always make ham spread (not sure if that's what it's called, but that's what my grandmother calls it :)). Take your leftover ham and put it in the food processor until it's very finely ground/chopped. Place it in a bowl. Next, add celery and onion (as little or as much as you like) to the food processor and chop *almost* as much as the ham, but not quite. (You want some texture left to it.) Mix the onion and celery with the ham, and add enough mayonnaise until it's the correct consistency for you (some like it very saucy. Personally, I prefer mine a little on the ';dry'; side. Spread on bread to make sandwiches, or eat on crackers. Yum!Any recipes for my left over ham?
Ham Casserole

INGREDIENTS:

4 ounces medium noodles

1 package (10 ounces) frozen broccoli spears

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon prepared brown mustard

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups milk

1 cup grated mild Cheddar cheese

2 cups cooked diced ham

1/3 cup slivered toasted almonds*

PREP:

Preheat oven to 350掳.

Cook noodles following package directions; drain. Cook broccoli just until tender.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter; blend in flour, salt, prepared mustard, and pepper.

Stir until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened; remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Dice broccoli stalks; leave flowerets intact. In an 8-inch square baking dish, arrange noodles, broccoli stems, and ham; pour cheese sauce over all. Arrange the flowerets over the top, pressing down a bit. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake ham casserole for about 15 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

Ham casserole serves 4.

*To toast nuts, spread out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast in a 350掳 oven, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes. Or, toast in an ungreased skillet over medium heat, stirring, until golden brown and aromatic.

All mixed together

Bon app茅tit
ham butter beans
Grind it in a food processor and make ham salad for sandwiches. That's what I do.
You can make a ham and scalloped potato casserole or I like ham and beans and ham and boiled cabbage%26gt; You can also do omelets and hamsalad.
Monte Cristo Sandwiches are good. (Grilled ham and cheese, dipped in egg batter liek French Toast).

I also like to add some to scrambled eggs.
1 cup chopped yellow onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/8 cup good olive oil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1-1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 cups medium-diced carrots (3 to 4 carrots)

1 cup medium-diced red boiling potatoes, unpeeled (3 small)

1 pound dried split green peas

8 cups chicken stock or water

ham cubed into bite size pieces

In a 4-quart stockpot on medium heat, saute the onions and garlic with the olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper until the onions are translucent, 10 to 15 minutes. Add the carrots, potatoes, 1/2 pound of split peas, and chicken stock. Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 40 minutes. Skim off the foam while cooking. Add the remaining split peas and continue to simmer for another 40 minutes, or until all the peas are soft. Stir frequently to keep the solids from burning on the bottom. Taste for salt and pepper. Serve hot.
You could chop it up fine, mix it with mayo and some sweet pickle relish ... then put a scoop of it on some lettuce and whatever other salad vegetables you wish ... serve with bread and butter or rusks ...

Soup: use it in split green pea soup ... it is delicious, especially if you put in some crushed cumin seeds ... just buy some canned split pea soup and add to it ... even a little cream is good ... or milk ...you could also use yellow split pea soup ...

Cheers
