What kind of leftover ham recipe is there without cheese?

I have some leftover Easter ham and I want to make a quick and easy dish for dinner tonight. However, I don't have any cheese and I'm not planning on going to the store tonight. Can anyone think of a REALLY GOOD recipe for me? Thanks!What kind of leftover ham recipe is there without cheese?
Creamed Ham With Peas





INGREDIENTS:


3 tablespoons butter


1/4 cup chopped green onion


2 teaspoons fresh minced parsley


2 tablespoons flour


1 cup milk


1/2 cup heavy cream


1 1/2 to 2 cups diced ham


1 1/2 cups frozen peas, thawed, cooked and drained


1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste


1/8 teaspoon black pepper


PREPARATION:


Heat butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the green onion and minced parsley and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the flour until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add milk and heavy cream. Stir in diced ham and cooked peas, along with salt and pepper to taste.





Serve over rice, grits, toast, or biscuits.What kind of leftover ham recipe is there without cheese?

ham and eggs, bean soup, scalloped potatoes and ham. fried potatoes with onions and ham. the list is endless and none of them take cheese.
simmer it in BBQ sauce.
COUNTRY SCALLOPED POTATOES AND HAM





8 medium potatoes, cut up SMALL


1 large onion diced, or onion powder if you prefer


1 lb fully cooked ham, cut into 1 inch cubes


1 package country style gravy mix


1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup


2 cups water

Combine potatoes, onion and ham in a lightly greased baking pan.


Combine gravy mix, mushroom soup and water; whisk until combined. Pour gravy mixture over potatoes. Cover bake at 350 degrees for about one hour





NOTE: To prevent darkening, toss sliced, uncooked potatoes in a mixture of 1 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar; drain and proceed with recipe.





OR, EASIER!





Scalloped Potatoes and Ham Ingredients:


2 cups Cooked ham cubed 2 1/2 cups Milk


1/4 cup Onion chopped fine 5 large Potatoes thinly sliced


1/4 cup Butter or margarine 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt


1/4 cup Flour 1/8 teaspoon Pepper





Instructions for Scalloped Potatoes and Ham


To make sauce, cook onion in butter or margarine till tender but not brown. Stir in flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. In a 2 quart casserole place 1/2 of the cubed ham and half of the sliced potatoes. Cover with half the sauce. Repeat layers. Bake covered in 350 F. oven for 45 minutes. Uncover, bake about 30 minutes more or till potatoes are done.

Find a jambalaya recipe and use the ham for meat. The taste difference is very nice.





You could also cook the ham, cubed, with beans, ketchup. and brown sugar.
Baked Scalloped Potatoes and Ham





1/2 cup butter


1/2 cup flour


2 teaspoons salt


1/2 teaspoon pepper


3 cups milk


3 cups ham, cooked


1 large green pepper, chopped


1 large onion, chopped


5 cups potatoes, pared and sliced





Melt butter in large sauce pan over low heat; blend in flour, salt, and pepper.


Cook, stirring constantly, for about 1 minute. Remove from heat gradually stir in milk.


Return to heat; cook until thickened and bubbly.


Fold in ham, onion, and green pepper. Pour over potatoes in a large bowl.


Stir gently then move into a buttered 13X4-inch baking dish; cover with foil.


Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


Uncover and continue to bake for 1 hour.


Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
